Short-cut to health & fitness results

If it’s results you want – this email will help. I’ve summarized something I read (I’m constantly refreshing my mindset and motivation).

How many people do you know who want to make a change in their life but never seem to get there? Most people think it takes a long time to gradually break old habits. But there is one thing you can do any time you are ready. Prepare your mind.

According to Tony Robbins – it’s getting ready to make a change that is the most important step. Robbins says there are three beliefs you must have in place in order to succeed in making change:

1. Believe Something MUST change
Do you sort of want to lose weight? OR does your life depend on it? Does getting a little fitter sounds nice to you OR do you realize it will save your marriage and family to have more energy? Do you want to look better when you have time for it? OR Will you make time for becoming the person you can be? Robbins believes you will only make a change when you truly believe the time has come for it (and that’s a choice you can make).

2. Believe I (and nobody else) must change it
You need to accept 100% responsibility for your change. You can and should seek help but is still completely up to you to make it happen. You have to make it your personal mission – no one will do it for you

3. Believe I CAN change it
Let go of all of your past failures and shortcomings. You have to believe you can succeed before you will. You have to accept there will be setbacks but you also have to believe that you are capable of improving yourself one small step at a time.
If you want external change – you must first make internal change!

FOCUS POINTS:
1.Choose your goal
2. Plan your changes (starting with your mind)
– Believe you MUST
– Take 100% responsibility
– Believe you CAN
3. Seek help
– Read a book
– Get a trainer
– Enlist a friend
4. Don’t Give up – ““Defeat is a state of mind; no one is ever defeated until defeat has been accepted as a reality.” – Bruce Lee

Stay Focused, RF.
